Metador Terms & Conditions: Free Gift for Select Customers 2025

Introduction

These terms and conditions (the Terms) apply to the Free Gift available exclusively to Metador’s highest spending customers during the period October 1st 2025 to October 31st 2025.

The Promoter

The partnership trading as Metador, having its principal office at Britannia House, John Boyle Road, Middlesbrough, TS6 6TY.

The Promotion

As part of our commitment to rewarding loyalty, the top five (5) spending customer accounts during the Promotion Period will each be eligible to receive a complimentary Makita Drill Set (the Gift).

The Gift

4.1 The Gift is a Makita Drill Set as described in the promotion.
4.2 The Gift is exclusive of delivery costs.
4.3 The Gift is subject to availability. There is no cash alternative. Metador reserves the right to substitute the Gift with a gift of equal or greater value.
4.4 The Gift cannot be exchanged.
4.5 In the event of order returns that would cause a customer to no longer rank within the top 5 spending accounts, the customer may be required to return the Gift.
4.6 Metador is not responsible for any additional costs associated with the Gift (e.g. travel, accessories) unless expressly stated.
4.7 Qualifying spend is calculated after any discounts have been applied.
4.8 Gifts will be fulfilled after the Promotion Period ends, with allocation confirmed by November 15th 2025.
4.9 Customers must not use the Gift in connection with inappropriate or defamatory material, competitor branding, or any activity deemed unsuitable by Metador.

How to Qualify

5.1 Customers must place orders through the usual process during the Promotion Period. The top 5 accounts with the highest total spend across all qualifying purchases will receive the Gift.
5.2 Purchases made outside the Promotion Period are not eligible.
5.3 Delivery charges (if applicable) are excluded from qualifying spend.
5.4 Only one Gift per company will be awarded.
5.5 Metador is not responsible for order errors, technical failures, or delays that impact qualifying spend.
5.6 By participating, customers are deemed to have accepted these Terms and any conditions outlined in related promotional material.
5.7 Metador accepts no responsibility for Gifts lost or delayed in transit.

Eligibility

6.1 The promotion is open to Metador customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
6.2 Exclusions apply to:

• Employees of Metador or its associated companies.

• Anyone professionally connected with this Promotion.

• Immediate family or household members of the above.

• Anyone purchasing products at a discounted rate.

6.3 Metador reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the Promotion or acting in breach of these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

7.1 Metador is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses connected to the Promotion.
7.2 Metador is not liable for third-party failures but will endeavour to minimise disruption to participants.
7.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes Metador’s liability for death, personal injury due to negligence, fraud, or as otherwise required by law.

General

9.1 Metador may suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion if necessary, without prior notice.
9.2 Metador reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
9.3 These Terms are governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
